Tall Tale

 c 2003 Rachel Nelson

The eensy weensy spider

Climbed up the water spout

Down came the rain in a great big flood and

Washed the spider out

CHORUS:               Thatís such a tall tale (Thatís such a tall tale)

Thatís such a tall, tall, tall tale

Thatís such a tall tale (Thatís such a tall tale)

                     It just might be true.

Jack Sprat could eat no fat

His wife could eat no lean

And so betwixt the two of them

They licked the platter clean

CHORUS

Paul Bunyan had a big blue ox

He thought heíd name her Babe

And everywhere that ox would step

Another lake was made.

CHORUS

Big rich factory owners

Would hurt kids overseas

So one young boy began the work to

Bring them to their knees.

FINAL CHORUS:      Thatís NOT a tall tale (Thatís not a tall tale)

Not such a tall, tall, tall tale

Thatís not a tall tale (Thatís not a tall tale)

                    Itís absolutely true.
